Miami-based shoe brand Del Toro has perfected the smoking flat for lady feet with its embroidered toes and mixed media construction.

It’s about time! We’ve been on pins and needles waiting to get a peek at Alexander Wang’s first ad campaign for Balenciaga. Now, the wait is over.

Thanks to WWD, we have a bit more information on what to expect from Wang as Balenciaga’s new creative director. The campaign features model Kristen McMenamy, but there’s one small detail. He face is covered. Wang chose to drape fabric over McMenamy’s face because he wanted consumers to focus on the craft, detail and texture of the clothing, not on her face. Not a bad idea in our opinion. The fall campaign will be in full swing come June.
