2013′s list of fashion executives with mug shots keeps getting longer and longer. Bulgari was in deep shit for not paying taxes, and now the former chief merchandising executive at Aéropostale is in trouble with the Feds.
Find out why after the pause.
According to Racked, Christopher Finazzo has been charged on 14 counts of mail fraud, one count of wire fraud, and one count of conspiracy. Sheesh! The charges all relate to a kickback scheme involve South Bay Apparel, an Aéro vendor. Allegedly Finazzo and Douglas Dey, the owner of South Bay Apparel, pocketed 25 percent of the profits South Bay received from orders from Aéropostale. In people with regular money terms, that means each guy made out with about $25 million. That’s a lot of fucking $10 t-shirts.
