Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Finally, corporations are starting to give a damn about the environment. We’ve seen more and more eco-friendly brands surfacing, and now Levi’s has jumped on the tree hugging trend. The staple label, known for its denim, is developing a method to turn recycled plastic bottles and food trays into fiber.

The plastic will be made into polyester fibers which will then be woven in with cotton to make a comfortable, functional denim for the Waste<Less line. Each pair of jeans will be made of at least 20 percent recycled material (equal to 8-12 bottles). Sounds like a cool idea, we just hope the jeans are still machine washable.
