Secret Hermés Designer
A Hermés scarf is probably one of the most sought after fashion accessories. The patterns on the scarves are so colorful and detailed, they’re almost like wearable pieces of art. well, thats because they were once real art. Actual paintings.
Find out who the secret artist is after the break.
According to FashionIndie, the iconic scarf designs are the works Kermit Oliver. The name probably doesn’t ring a bell because Mr. Oliver is a postal service worker from Waco, Texas. He’s in his late 60s, and has been a secret Hermés designer since the 1980s. Surprisingly, he looks at painting as a hobby despite the fact that he’s sold artwork for $70,000 and has been featured in People. Must be nice.
