Dorothy’s Duds Up for Auction
Victor Fleming’s “The Wizard of Oz” is as American as hot dogs and apple pie. The 1939 film (yes, its that old) has been a fashion inspiration for decades. The movie is such a staple that the OG dress worn by Judy Garland is up for auction.
Details after the break.
According to Telegraph, the dress will be sold as a part of the ‘Icons and Idols 2012: Hollywood’ sale next month. The outfit is currently on display at the Stafford Hotel in central London. It will later be shown at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills from November 5-9. Bidding will start at $200,000. Do we hear $300,000?
