Nail art and high fashion have recently become a match made in heaven. As of late, more and more high end designers are incorporating nail trends in their ads and runway shows. Oscar de la Renta finally boarded the polish express and lent his name (and fabulousness) to a collection of nail colors.

The new polishes were pigmented to match the brand’s fall ’12 RTW pieces. “The Runway Collection” is rumored to consist of mostly jewel tones. We’re drawn to “Larimar,” a pale blue hue named after a stone exclusive to de la Renta’s native Dominican Republic.
