American Apparel has become a signature brand since its founding in 1989. Today, many top brands print on American Apparel tees and everyone owns at least one AA v-neck. We can’t front, their basic knitwear is of great quality despite the ridiculous price tag. What we love more than their racks of mini dresses and leggings is their ads featuring scantily clad models. The more skin the merrier!
More after the pause.
Sex sells. We know. American Apparel has done a great job at cashing in on T&A. Sexed up and tits out, these ads walk the thin line between tacky and tasteful with circus tightrope perfection. Women in just leggings, men in only boxers, red pouty lips, sheer tops. The only place you can see more nudity is a porn site, and we love it. To top it all off, the models look like everyday Janes and Joes. Sorry VS Angels. The only thing we’re skeptical about is the claim that none of the ads are air brushed. The jury is still out on that one.
