Paris’ first fashion house has cast real people (not high paid models) for its Fall 2012 campain. Lanvin is no stranger to any of us, but the faces of their campaign are. Alber Elbaz selected everyday men and women ages 18-80s to show off the brand’s newest designs.

The first image to hit the net confirmed the ‘ordinary people’ rumor. Jacquie Tajah Murdock, 82, is the first face to be associated with the non-model campaign. She was once a dancer at the Apollo theatre and dreamed of being a model since she was 18. The cast of unfamiliar faces includes backgrounds ranging from waiter to recent immigrant.
A viral video is scheduled to release on August 21.
