iPad Killer ?
Watch your back iPad. There is a new tablet in town.
June 18 marked the unveiling of the Microsoft Surface, a tablet rumored to give Apple’s iPads a run for its money. There aren’t many details about the tablet regarding price, retailers, or connectivity just yet, but the tablet will operate on Windows 8 and sport a 10.6 display. The features creating the biggest buzz are the built-in 0.7-millimeter kickstand and a completely flat, removable 3-millimeter thick touch QWERTY keyboard that doubles as a cover. More pictures from the release after the jump.
The marketing employee who came up with the video ad for this product is a visual genius:
With an i5 Intel processor, up to 128 gigs of memory (iPad only goes up to 64GB), and two USB ports, I’m sold. I just need to keep up with the latest updates via the Surface website to be sure I’m going to convert back to Microsoft. Now, if only I could find my furry tail USB.
