Harmony Korine’s Anti-Fashion for Proenza Schouler
Have you guys seen this? Proenza Schouler recently released this video directed by Harmony Korine. This flick definitely represents some of the best in branded content out there. Riffing on his experience studying youth via films like Gummo and Kids, he takes 4 minutes exploring ideas of youth and poverty using 16mm film. The models, young and black, are posed in vaguely dystopic suburbs as a young girl narrates. The imagery (girls spray painting, drinking 40′s) are sometimes contrived, but more often thoughtful and rad for a web entertainment. Check it after the jump.
