Help Gerlan Jeans Race To The Runway
Calling all boundary breakers, wall shakers, dream weavers, and true believers!!!
Gerlan Jeans needs your support! Its been three seasons since the debut of Gerlan Jeans and it has been
on an incredible print-filled journey, ever since. However, self-funding these collections has meant, more often
than not, that her creative vision has exceeded her humble budget. Doing a lot with a little is a challenge we always
embrace, but Gerlan Jeans has reached a place where she no longer has the self capitol it takes to keep up with
the speed of the growing demand. More deets after the jump…..This is how it works:
Gerlan Jeans hopes to raise at least $17,500 by midnight on August 2nd. This funding will be used to cover the
exhaustive list of expenses that go into making, showing and selling a collection, including fabric, printing, making
patterns, sewing samples, show production, shipping, and showroom rental.
In return for your pledge and support you get all sorts of chic rewards, including limited edition t shirts, invitations
to sit front row at the up-coming show, signed sketchbook illustrations, printed tote bags, one of a kind sunglasses,
accessories made from printed archive fabric, and even a made to measure replica of the sequin Alien dress worn
by Beyonce in Videophone + much much more!
To see a full list of rewards, a short video message, and a lot more information about the pledge drive and how you
can support Gerlan Jeans please follow the link below:
One important note about Kickstarter: The collection will only be funded (that is: your donation charged to your credit
card) if I reach my minimum goal of $17,500 by August 2nd, so in order to reach as many people as possible, please
help by posting the above link on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr and by forwarding this email to anyone/everyone
you know who loves print, color, and having fun!!
Your support and participation is vital to making this pledge drive a success! So PLEDGE NOW, spread the word,
join the celebration, contribute to the global collective of print and color, and help change the future of fashion! I am
truly grateful for your enthusiasm and support. It takes a village!
