L.L. Bean Is Psyched Duck Boots are Cool
The WSJ reports that both L.L. Bean and Land’s End are both making moves to entice younger markets. They’ll be changing up their looks, engaging in social networking and encouraging online ordering to appeal to their targeted “hipster” demographic. Read more, after the jump.
Of course, the staples that made these retailers famous have been a sweeping trend and we’ve been sporting all sorts of flannels, hunting jackets and duck boots on the streets. A lot of what people have been wearing is updated versions from younger companies- and we can’t disagree the classics have more appeal. Both L.L. Bean and Land’s End are introducing new lines featuring clothes with a more broken- in feeling and updated fits.
