Cinema Style: Blade Runner

The film Blade Runner was set in a dystopian Los Angelos circa November 2019- it’s not 2019 yet but it sure is November, so we decided it was time for Blade Runner style study. Harrison Ford is a Blade Runner, and human hired to “retire” a group of Replicants- a type of robots indistiguable from humans have recently staged an uprising. The look of the film is incrediable and won an Oscar for Art Direction. Think post apoloctopltic Japan set in LA and the costumes take this neo-noir/science fiction film there. From robot whores to a classic beauty rocking Balmain shoulders it’s a wild fashion ride through the future. Click to see images.
