Recognise this lovely lady? It’s Mattel‘s version of Cyndi Lauper. Yep – the same Mattel that has brought us the 50-year old Barbie (if there was ever an ad for plastic surgery, its somewhere in the non-aging plastic face of the doll…) and who has simply used the same face as Barbie with ’80′s clothing’. Their new line called  ‘Ladies of the 80′s’ is sure to completely change little girls ideas about that time – and not for the better, I think! For those of us who were there, these are simply no reflection of these icons at all.  Well done, Mattel – almost as unrealistic as your black Barbie’s. In all good stores by Xmas. Terrifying! More ‘Ladies of the 80′s’ after the jump.

This is total confusing. Each of these artists seem like they would be against having Barbies of themselves, but money talks…
