Grunge, the movement, is also the title of the new book by photographer Michael Lavine. Lavine’s photographs are presented with text by Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore and chronicles the rise and fall of Grunge starting in 1980s’s Seattle and following it’s path to popular culture.
