London Connection: From New York with Love..
Claw and I have a mutual friend: the ball of energy and multitalented Shaniqwa Jarvis: she is a photographer hailing from NY who has been living and working in London for the past few months and making heads turn with her pictures of life here across the pond. This Thursday, Miss Jarvis will be curating an exhibition showcasing NY’s finest artists at the second installment of the Wish You Were Here shop swap, which sees brands from New York’s Lower East Side – Earnest Sewn, Adrienne’s and Zarin Fabric Warehouse to name a few – take up residence in London’s Newburgh Quarter for a month, starting on the 1st of October 2009. More deets after the jump….
Alongside Jarvis, the other photographers exhibiting are Todd Jordan, Angelo Baque, Frances Tulk-Hart, Jason Oliver Goodman, Joey Gallagher, David ‘Shadi’ Perez, Rafael Rios, and Peter Sutherland.
