This Friday night commences the weekend celebration of the Jewish New Year called Rosh Hashanah. The beauty of Judaism is that you get to purge all your sins from the past year and start with a clean slate going forward. You are supposed to eat lots of fruit and honey, to secure a sweet New Year and eat the head of a fish, so you are at the front of the pack.  Eww. Another tradition is to blow the shofar, (not blow the chauffeur, though we are sure he wouldn’t mind) the horn of mountain goat like a trumpet and throw crumbs in a flowing river. Following the holiday you have 1 week to apologize to all you have wronged (the Jewish version of AA) and then fast for Yom Kippur, where you erase all your evils for reals.  So grab a yarmulke and pretend to be one of the chosen peeps – your karma will thank you. More after the jump……Happy New Year, bitches! Hope itz SWEEEEET!
