No ladies rocked harder than Heart back in the day. These talented sisters were the first female fronted hard hitting band, like ever – setting the bar high for Suzi Quartro, The Runaways, The Pretenders and so on . Formed in the early 70’s Ann Wilson, often called the female Robert Plant captivated us with her strong vocals and dark beauty. With her guitarist sister Nancy (now married to Cameron Crowe) the were a true female force. More pics after the jump……
