The New Branding Is Not Branding
Hottie Rick Klotz, the owner and head designer of Freshjive, shown (wilding out in his painted leather from his high school days) above, has recently told the Hundreds blog that he will he will stripping Freshjive logos from the clothing but also from the labels. Klotz is “disillusioned” with branding and wants to return to the simplicity of designing. This coming from the man who started it all (streetwear wise) – with his “Tide/Jive” tshirt back in the early 90′s. We’re pretty sure this is just another way to brand, especially when you see the new label design- but read more after the jump.
