While Southern Cali got all the skateboard glory, Andy Kessler put NYC on the map in the 70′s. He was a legend, downtown fixture and will be sadly missed for his disarming charm.  He died suddenly of a heart attack from a bee sting while summering in Montauk according to Patrick O’Dell’s twitter.
