if we noticed carefully the picture then we will see that dan colen seems to be taller than mc ginley and mac ginley appears to be taller than dash snow
but this is only the phenomenon and not the essence of the photography because the position of the legs have a very theatrical character and they are connected in a huge degree between them
that you can not distinguish which one suits to snow or macginley
maybe because the leg is the basis of human action
and this photo means by the complexions of these legs that these 3 artists had same basis, same dreams, same goals or same roots and origin
we must not forget that these 3 are pure american artists
and american art has the first and the last word on what is happening today in the contemporary art
scandinavian, flemmish and german art follow american art who seems to be the strongest at this time[the culture industry of america is a basic cause for all that]
in any case the photo is very provocative with these 3 naked young men who shared the same bed but the sexual fantasy is only in the eyes of the viewers
14-7-2009 seems to be the day that dash snow died if i remember well
maybe it is a collage. i really do not know
in any case the issue who is taller or not is a false
[who was more famous or important] according to the logic of artists
very sexual and sensual atmosfere and the sheet reveals a romanticism in the air
all of them are sleeping and we must not forget that sleep was the twin brother of death according to the ancient greek mythology
it is a tribute on the dead artist
