DIY: Cheap Monday
Cheap Monday is one of our favorite denim companies, not just because they are affordable, but because we LOVE us some denim that looks like we painted it on! The company brought back simple washes and clean pockets without loads of logos. Turns out we have even more reason to love them; because their runway show was totally DIY inspired, and we don’t feel like we’ll have to buy ANY of it, because we can shred our own shirts, thank you very much! More looks after the jump…The brand has brought on Ann-Sofie Back, of London, on to do design for the brand’s non-denim pieces, leaving that part of the job to the master, Orjan Andersson. Orjan is the creator and designer of the denim line since its inception. We love Ann-Sofie, but to be real, we think the best part of the 2010 line is that we can cut and patch our own jersey tees and dresses. Great for us, not so exciting for Cheap Monday if the hope to stay afloat.
