Bust Mag hipped us to this interweb gem that is Young, Fat and Fabulous and now we will never put down our fork. Schooling us how to get trendy looks in Plus Sizes, on the cheap no less, is my kind of chubby chasing. More after the plump jump…..

Bloggers love to post pix of their outfits daily, making that style of fashion reporting a modern day phenom. So why should skinny girls get all the shine? Gaby shows you how to look great at any size and celebrates the fat fashionista in all of us. Her about me states: “I’m a fun loving girl who happens to have a flair for fashion. I’m just trying to change the world one fat girl at at time.” And just in time for the Curvy Connection, a Full Figured Fashion Week this June 25th – 27th.

    Thats gross. Being over weight is not healthy, and should not be celebrated as though it is!

    @goooogettr~~

    Just because some people are heavier does NOT mean they are not healthy….

    Is it healthy for girls to be showing there chest bones and ribs?

    Just because a girl has meat on her bones or even a little extra gravy does not mean they aren’t healthy.

    Loving yourself the way you are built is healthy

    just my opinion

    For over 12 years I have been designing clothing for women of larger sizes. It all started with my mother who was very fat and find it difficult to buy clothes to fit her. I began to make her clothing from a very young age , today it has lead to my business Fat Girls Fashion in Thailand, where we have over 50 employees that has been dedicated to our quality and vision . I understand the need for larger size women along with their fitting requirements that is not found in many designers clothing available in retail shops today. Over the period of years I have perfected the cutting pattern for larger sizes with the utilization of today’s modern fabrics to acquire the best fit and comfort for our customers while maintaining the vision of current fashion design and affordability in mind.

    As an educated individual i am all about being comfortable in your own skin but there are associated health risks with being overweight and in no way shape or form should it be glamorised as there are tasks required of the human race that required fit, healthy individuals. It is unfair to expect people who build our houses and maintain our bridges to maintain their health and fitness whilst overweight people go shopping. I think its time that like smoking, overweight people be considered socially unacceptable based primarily on the health risks and that overweight people start being socially responsible.

  • Teela said:

    You assume that they aren’t being socially responsible. For all you know they are eating right and exercising, which is why they aren’t putting on more weight. They may have already lost weight. You don’t know.

    Trust me when I say it is already socially unacceptable which is why there are specialty blogs just to show you that big girls can dress cute and be confident. I suggest you keep pushing healthier eating for all sizes instead of letting what you see on the outside be the biggest thing that you focus on when it comes to health. Skinny or not bad habits are bad habits and that is what your enemy should be.
