We love NYC when everyone has left for sandier pastures.  The streets are empty and serene, it’s like a private urban paradise. This memorial day weekend, we are staying in town and thinking about buying a habachi for fire escape bbqing and maybe a cheap chaise lounge for our roof top tanning sessions, on our own exclusive, reclusive “tar beach”. Now don’t forget that an all black surface attracts extra UVs so slather up with SPFs. We heard it’s rain (again) for Saturday and Sunday – thinking about hitting the Richard Avedon retrospective at ICP. Avedon, in my opinion invented fashion photography, forcing his models into movement – and his influence is abundant. Just beautiful – go get inspired in the bad weather! See ya tuesday, kids………..
