Are you broke? You know how people like to wear really expensive clothes that make them look poor and homeless? 2)Cut-off Denim Shorts. This classic style can be yours for free. Get some scissors and an old pair of jeans and bam. Now you have new shorts to dress up with a cute top or cardigan from H&M or dress down with your favorite vintage t-shirt from Salvation Army. Unless you want to look like Jenny-from-the-Block and have your shorts all up in your junk- we recommend using a pair of jeans that are a little big for you- which should be easy now that you can’t afford to eat.
3) Wife Beaters!!!!! Do you feel like hitting your signifgant other because they didn’t pay the electricty bill and the powers out and there’s no beer in the fridge? Don’t!!! Just buy 5-pack of men’s white ribbed tanks from your local Target. If you are really creative you can find fun ways to personalize them- grab a box of fabric dye for $3.99 and steal some rubber bands from the postman and you’ve got a great tie-dye top on your hands.
4) Nail Polish. You know that Little Mama song about how her lipgloss is popping? We love that song because it’s all about how a trip to the make-up isle at the drugstore can be enough to make you feel fresh. Though we aren’t really into glossy, sticky lips, we are into brightly colored nails. Colors like green, blue, oranges and hot pink are super fun for summer. I recently picked up a bottle of glitter nail polish that I’m way into. Note; We recommened springing for the $5 dollar kind over the of the .99 cent bottles… unless you want to be rapping “my polish is chipping.”
