Fashion Flashback: Dale Bozzio

Missing Persons’ singer Dale Bozzio is the originator of the recycled look. Not only does she wear a vest made out of aluminum foil and bubble wrap, she invented the plastic bowl bra – not to be confused with the similar concept of the coconut bra. Me thinks Lady Gaga gets a lot of her inspiration from this 80′s sexpot, who once posed for Playboy under the name Toni Consalvi. More innovative Bozzio fashions after the jump -

SO awesome! AND, Dale is very normal and down to earth and didn’t need a team of creative people to create her OWN ORIGINAL innovative look.

I must agree, Lady Gaga does copy her look and inspiration from Dale Bozzio… which isn’t a bad thing except for the fact that everyone from this generation (who never witnessed Bozzio) thinks LG is original
I hear she loves cats. She says they taste like chicken!
The cat thing was a tragic accident that sometimes happens in life. I’m sure Dale still mourns them all. No haters.
I stored some of Dale’s things for her when she was moving once. I believe she refered to the “plastic bowl bra” as “petree dishes”. (Although I didn’t think they looked like peetree dishes) Dale made her cloths (costumes) with her mother, because she couldn’t find what she wanted. She is very creative in that sense.
I actaully came across a t-shirt she wore in concert a picture of her with my mom and sister at my daughter’s school function and a picture of her youngest son (Troy) when he was about three.
Dale means well and has a heart of gold. I haven’t seen her in a while, but I am sure there is more to this (cat) story.
I heard she was making a few extra bucks selling them to the local Chinese restaurant.
