Gap x Pantone take on 5th avenue
The Gap and color masters, Pantone have joined together to take over the Gap pop-up shop on 5th avenue. This collection from Gap is a major rip off of American Apparel. All of the t-shirts look so much like the slim t’s that AA has such success with. Each year Pantone selects a “color of the year.” 2009’s color is PANTONE 14-0848 Mimosa, a warm, engaging yellow that Gap will spotlight with exclusive Mimosa tees available for purchase at the Gap & Pantone T-Shop. The Mimosa tee is available in limited quantities as a men’s crewneck [$18] and women’s v-neck [$18.50]. Mimosa is also one of the 3,000 colors available in Pantone’s line of superior-quality, eco-friendly paint. The shirts are available until Febuary 9th and this store is located at 680 Fifth Avenue (between 53rd and 54th Streets), NYC from Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. and Sunday’s 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
