Is this really necessary?
Mischa Barton has released her own line of headbands for Stacy Lapidus. She currently has a handbag collection for the London-based Ri2k, now in its third season (who knew??), which is sold in England and Australia. The Mischa Barton for Stacey Lapidus line consists of six pieces for holiday decorated with pearls, beads, crystals, sequins and flowers. One standout is a silk, crystal and pearl upside-down tiara intended to be worn on the forehead. Priced from $80 to $200, the Barton pieces initially will be sold on the Stacey Laidus website, but Lapidus plans to expand distribution to boutiques that sell her signature line. Earlier this year, Barton was supposedly fighting with Nicole Richie about which of the two starlets could ‘own’ a celebrity hairband line. Well, Mischa beat Nicole to the punch, but based in the headbands high price point we wonder how well the peices will sell.Via: WWD
