If you are going to the Influence, the book written by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, don’t expect them to sign anything other than their book. In the multiple ads promoting their up coming book signing event (taking place at Barnes & Noble on Tuesday, October 28th, 12:30 p.m. 33E 17th Street) the fine print reads “Mary- Kate and Ashley Olsen will sign Influence only. No other books or memorabilia please.” So dont bother bringing your favorite Olsen straight to video classic, Winning London, Double Double Toil and Trouble, or How the West was Fun, because they don’t care, and definitely will not sign those. These where the projects that actually made these two famous billionaires!! Oh have times changes. . .
A coffee table book. They’re pretentious, creepy, 13 year-old looking trolls. They actually believe people are interested in their “influences”? What influenced them to make “New York Minute”? The need for a tax write-off?
Lemme sum up their “influences”: binging, purging, and prescription drugs to maintain their 13-year-old boy bodies.
You know, everyone starts somewhere and it REALLY says something about people when they refuse to acknowledge that start any longer. It’s like Sweet Jane:
Anyone who ever played a part
wouldn’t turn around and hate it…
…unless they truly had people around them telling them that it’s their looks and fashion that have made them the “icons” they are today. Hope this book tanks.
This is nothing new. People have been doing this for years: ONLY signing the book, & nothing else. It’s called selling books. Fans who like them from other projects but don’t give a shit about their book, will buy a copy, just to get their signature.
oh give them a rest. places like barnes and noble and borders book them in order to sell the book in question. not out of kindness to fans that want their Full House DVDs signed. that’s why the rule exists. it happens at pretty much every celeb signing. even those that are willing to sign other stuff do it ‘crowd permitting’ and only if you buy a copy of the book they are hawking also.
