Hollywood Fashion Designer, Richard Blackwell, Dies at age 86

Richard Blackwell, the Hollywood fashion designer and pundit who was famous for his annual ‘Worst Dressed’ list, has died, aged 86. He died from complications due to an intestinal infection
Mr Blackwell named Victoria Beckham the worst dressed woman in the world in his most recent list, and has singled out everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Mariah Carey for criticism since his first list in 1960. Nobody was safe, from British royals and first ladies to pop starlets and a certain ‘over-exposed’ blonde heiress.
Lest we forget, Blackwell also praised those he thought were sartorially successful. Among recent favourite of his were Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Kate Winslet.
He will be missed.

After all those years of trashing other people’s appearances, he better have a really good-looking casket.
