Lagerfeld does Vermont

Karl Lagerfeld has purchased a six bedroom, ‘land-mark building’ , on Lake Champlain (up around Burlington), which dates back to 1840. “I love it. It’s very much Emily Dickinson,” Lagerfeld told WWD, adding that it reminds him of northern Europe. Karl also said he’ll start shooting the Chanel campaigns there. Hope he is ready for the freezing cold winter, but we doubt he will even be there to enjoy them.
