This years holiday theme for luxury department store, Barney’s, is Peace and Love: Have a Hippie Holiday. This theme is derived from the 1960′s, psychedelics, and peace and love. The Barney’s holiday theme is used for decor throughout the store, store promotions and exclusive merchandise. The department store price tags don’t seem to tie into the theme very well, they are very much NOT hippie friendly. Hopefully they will be offering free Acid Tests, but we doubt it.

Heres a look at past Barney’s themes, they don’t seem to be leaving a certain comfort zone, but you decide.

I have already decided that next year’s theme is going to be The Beatles, how well does this theme fit into Barney’s criteria?
